Introduction
Air Player is a lightweight application with one purpose: Run instrument panels.
You can use Air Manager to configure Air Player. Once configured, Air Player can operate completely on it's own. This page will explain how to use Air Player.

Start Air Player
Air Player will automatically start when you start up the Raspberry Pi.
Configure Air Player
You have to use Air Manager to configure Air Player.
Please see the Air Manager User Manual here for more information on how to configure Air Player.
Pushing custom instruments to Air Player
If you want to run instruments in Air Player that are not part of the Sim Innovations library, then these have to be pushed from the Create/Edit tab. Go to the Create/Edit tab, select your Air Player, then select your custom instrument(s) and press Push. To multi select instruments, press SHIFT or CTRL while selecting your instruments.
SSH access (Air Player 4.1.x and up)
Use the following credentials to obtain access through SSH:
Username: pi Password: siminnovations
Shutdown the Raspberry Pi
You can shutdown the Raspberry Pi from Air Manager. See here for more information.
The power LED on the Raspberry Pi will flash 5 times indicating that it is safe to remove the power.
Automatic update
Air Player will automatically update itself when there is an update available online
Note that the update process might take a couple of minutes (depending on your internet speed). The instrument panel will show up once it has finished updating.
