Touchscreen and Popouts

Hello all.
Here’s my goal:
Laptop (already has touchscreen capability) has a GTN750 (or similar) instrument outline and pop out from MSFS with touchscreen capability.
Problem:
Using air manager I can only get the touchscreen to work
Using Windows “screen projection” I can only get the pop out to work (PC does not seem to allow my laptop mouse or touchscreen to control anything on the screen projection)

Any advice or suggestions on how to get the pop out and the touchscreen to work?
I hope the way I explained this makes sense…

Pop outs do not work remotely, they only work on the same device as the simulator.
