GFC 500 Altitude randomly goes to -99,000 or +99,000
I'm having a problem getting the Reims Rocket C172 aircraft to work with the GFC 500 AP and a G5 attitude indicator from the available Sim Innovations instruments. I have all other aspects of the IRL panel matching and working with the Air Manger Panel, including the G5 instruments for the Attitude and the HSI. However, when i adjust the altitiude on the GFC500, the Altidue bug on the G5 attitude indicator will jump to 99,000 or -99,000 feet and sometimes i can fix it by pressing the ALT button a couple of times, but it's mostly just stuck and i either hav eto manually dial the altitude down from 99,000 to 5000. Sometimes, even using the dial, it will not adjust at all, jsut seems to constantly reset from 98500 to 99000 nearly instantly. It seems that this bug used to be related to a "Working Title G1000 NXi" add on, and the fix used to be to uninstall it. However, that add-on is now part of the standard MSFS installation and i don't see a way to remove or delete it. According the the Reim Rocket dev at https://flightsim.to/file/42097/rf172-r ... hawk-xp-ii the c172 in the model has KAP140 auto pilot. In the real plane i fly, the autopilot is a GFC500. I didn't realize this when i started tweaking this model to match my IRL airplane. So i'm wondering if there is a conflict between using the GFC500 in the Reims mod since it has a KAP140 as the standard AP? If that's the root cause of the issue, is there a KAP140 instrument or equivalent in the library? Thanks for all your help so far.
