Not working autopilot instrument

#1 Post by mcmurphy »

Hello, i'm using airmanager desktop with x-plane 12 on a mac. That works allmost perfectly. I have 2 touch screens for instruments i'm using with a standard 737 from x plane. The only thing that is not working is the autopilot. Some of the dials i can turn and they react (heading) but i don't see any green lights on my air manager touch screens. No buttons work on the touch screen. I have an input of 'mouse and touch' and the rest of the instruments work. Can anyone help me?

Re: Not working autopilot instrument (MCP) for 737

Isn't anybody capable of helping me? I have a non working autopilot. Used several MCP's for the 737, but non of them work. I now use the Boeing 737-800X Z_2D_XP-MCP , i can use the buttons, they work but the display's stay blank. It's very frustating.

I don't know anyone who uses a 'mac'. That may be part of your issue. Send a support ticket into the company (SI). I think they may have a mac for testing. Most people use windows.

There's no autopilot that works with the standard 737. The one that does work for X-Plane is for the Zibomod.

I see lots of instruments, including an autopilot for the 737NG, what plane is that?

That is the old x737 I believe.
What's wrong with the Zibo?

Never heard about that before. Should be much better than the default 737.

Hi, for the DC-3 under XP11 for MacOS, I have searched and tried a lot of different autopilots from community instruments.
A lot of them were working nicely, and permitted me to design the rudder automatic adjustment of the DC-3.

So, I assume you may be able to do the same: search from the instrument list and find a working autopilot for the 737 :) and eventually redesign it for your own needs.
