Nested Group visibility bug

#1 Post by Sling »

AM 4.2 does not action changes in visibility if the node is part of a nested group (see example code for detail). Works just fine in 4.1.6

Code: Select all

txt1 = txt_add("XXX", "font:arimo_regular.ttf", 50, 50, 100, 40)
txt2 = txt_add("YYY", "font:arimo_regular.ttf", 50, 100, 100, 40)
txt3 = txt_add("ZZZ", "font:arimo_regular.ttf", 50, 150, 100, 40)
img1 = img_add("image.png", 50, 200, 50, 50)

grp = group_add(txt1, txt2, img1)

grp2 = group_add(grp, txt3)

--only txt3 is hidden, all nodes in the group grp are not actioned
visible(grp2, false)

Since I'm gun shy and haven't loaded up the new v4.2.x, I can't verify if this is a bug, but I believe Tony! It's another reason I'll keep hitting "SKIP" because in the set of instruments for the MSFS Black Square TBM 850, I use nested groups.

Hi,

Sorry for the slow response, but this is fixed in next AM 4.2.5 release.

Should be online within hours,

Oh, completely forgot that I did that.

You're welcome I guess ;)
