Thanks for your answer @Corjan, just the point to understand following your statement, is this induce some confusion, as it looks for us the plugin version was following the AM version, then going from FS plugin 4.2 Beta 2 to FS plugin 4.1 is rather not logical in a software publishing view and indeed on customer side ... I guess this point is now clarified on SI side, otherwise I don't see how to make it clever ???

Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
Hi,
Just did some tests with Dave, and it seems that the auto-start option for panels might have something to do with it.
- When starting panels manually, everything works fine.
- When starting panels automatically on boot AM, there is a big delay in the hardware.
For people having the same issue, please let me know if this might also be the issue for you.
I'm going to try to replicate the issue here,
Corjan

It has always had its own release path, and nowhere is it implied that the versions should be the same:

Ok, no issue, I understood the previous post you stated this @Corjan, so, best way to avoid confusion, let's start a new versioning scheme for the plugin itself, or you may trigger to maintain the confusion just on yourself freely and uselessly, no offense at all intended in any case, just the best suggestion I could provide.Corjan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 3:33 pm It has always had its own release path, and nowhere is it implied that the versions should be the same:

Hello,
I am writing to confirm that there is a bug somewhere. The previous version of air manager (and connection plugin) was working fine.
Now there is a huge delay between manipulating the instrument on the AirManager touch screen and the response in the simulator.
Let's see if we can find the origin...

Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
Hi Guys,
Corjan linked in with me today and did very thorough testing and trial and error.
My issue was the delay in turning my rotary on my G5 units to it actually being implemented in the sim, there was a delay.
Corjan identified that the issue arose when AM was allowed to start with the sim, as in my case. Starting AM manually and all worked as it should.
So at present the workaround, certainly in my case will be to start AM manually. However, just because that has now got me up and running Corjan said he will be doing more testing in the office to find and fix the issue.
Try starting it manually, it worked for me and I will await a permanent fix.
I must add Corjan was VERY professional and friendly in his dealings with me and is determined to get to the bottom of it. It was a pleasure talking with him and allowing him to test on my system.

Good "davenicoll", it is an achievement that you have been able to solve it.
In my case I always start AM manually
manually and the problem persists.
I have tried to start AM before the sim, after the sim, put the panels manually before and after, change graphic options, change instruments, try new panels. Nothing. The problem is there

I have to comment that I am talking about the Cessna 172 premium panel (the one I use the most). I have not checked others.
Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
We're investigating it, so expect an update somewhere soon.
Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
Would someone check if the CPU usage of AM is within reason when the problem occurs, in task manager?
Might be that AM is to busy for some reason.
