I upgraded Air Manager and Air Player to 4.2.1. Sorry to say this but this update left me unable to use many of the instruments I used in 4.0. The sim is virtually unusable at the moment.
Corjan/Ralph - Please make it possible for those of us who wish to go back to an earlier release, ( after a failed new update), in-order for us to stay airworthy. This was a perfect weekend to fly given the huge snow storm we just had and now find myself unable to fly.
Thanks,

Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
Going back is never really an option. But so far, all of these similar problems came down to scripting issues. Did you make your own?

Hi Ralph, you have provided this answer on several occasions. Please elucidate and provide examples ?

Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
It seems to pop up when too much data is written to the simulator.
Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
I do too experience problems with sluggishness. As for going back I do only partially agree - if the older version runs better for now, I'd like to continue using it as long as there is no better option. Some companies do offer old drivers too, in case of compatibility problems.
Would it be possible to put an older version into the wiki until all issues are resolved?

Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
The problem is that your configuration is already updated, but the major reason: going back does not solve the problem in the long run.
Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
My set up is a custom cockpit - 9 years in the making and countless resources spent - as of now the sim is un-usable.
Will Sim Innovations work on a fix to bring back the functionality of earlier AM versions?
Thanks
Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
We have not been able to reproduce it, and apparently lots of people have no issues at all. So it is something very specific.
I'm going to try some more testing tomorrow, to see if I can reproduce something. But it would also be nice to debug on someone's system, if anyone is up for that.
Until now, the cases that were solved, came down to scripting issues. So we'll have to see...

Re: Air Manager 4.2.1 Very slow/sluggish
Whilst I have my own separate thread on this running I thought I would join in this one as well...
I to am having very sluggish response times when I move the dials for QNH on the PFD and heading in the HSI on my RSG G5 units. Basically making them unusable. They do move but only after about 10 seconds which is not helpful.
I have no other units and have not made any custom scripts. It worked perfectly on the previous version but is now broken.

Ralph,
If you would like to teamview with me that would be ok with me as my sim is no longer usable.
Let me know. I'd be happy to help solve these issues.
