JPI 930

#1 Post by PiersonH »

Is there a JPI 930 I can add?
I’m trying to match my actual cockpit and we’ve replaced the original gauges with a 930.

Thanks

Hi @PiersonH, I think there's a few members who have already worked on very similar work around JPI, like @thijmen, @JackZ and @Keith Baxter, indeed could have missed a few other

here's a sample :

In any case, there's already a bunch we can download and adapt on expectation :

Indeed the 930 appears a bit more complete and complex

Apologies for my techlessness (new word, just invented it), but could you point me to where those downloads might be please?

I’m trying to get a steam guage 182 or something close enough to maintain proficiency when away from the real plane.

Thank you.

This does not exist as 'just a download'. You'll have to get your hands dirty on coding. Or pay someone to do it, but expect a serious price tag. This is not something you put together on a Sunday afternoon.

In any case, the ones mentioned here : https://siminnovations.com/forums/viewt ... 234#p58234, are downloadable from Air Manager download button in [Create/Edit] tab

There are a few jpi edm instruments in the store. They don’t do any of the jpi features like lean assist or have buttons that can go through different gauges. But I think you you can still get a lot out of what is there already .. you can see the instrument in the right place on your panel and look at rpm and manifold pressure.

Thank you, I’ll give them a look. Functionally isn’t the issue, the scan is. I just tend to look in the wrong place in the plane after having been on the sim. Thanks again for your help.
