Knobster Not Connected in both X Plane and MSFS

Yes I can return it to them. Flight Velocity was very cooperative and completely understood the problem. They explained that the Knobster was their build version and to be used ONLY with Air Manger.. I am only interested in fixing the problem NOT fixing the blame. I doubt if Amazon even knows the difference between the "Original" Knobster and the "DIY" . This cant be the first time this has happemed. So Problem solved... Now I will order the Knobster from Sim Innovations and "Press On". Thanks again.... hope to dialog again with you in the future.

I am in the process of returning it through Amazon. Flight Velocity has agreed to help with the return if needed. Thank You for your interest ... will post back with final result. Hopefully I will be able to use the Knobster XP and Knobster FS when the new unit arrives from Sim Innovations.

Hi @Peteman, please post a screenshot of Air Manager UI showing where you're expecting the Knobster to be present ?

Waiting for Knobster to arrive Jan 5 2024. Will Post with results. Not planning to use Air Manager at this stage. Primary purpose is to eliminate difficulty in MSFS G1000 .

Still waiting for delivery of the Knobster... UPS Tracking has it in Germany as of this morning 7:00am 10 Jan 2024. Left the Netherlands 29 Dec 20323. Promised delivery was 6 Jan 2024. Now looks like 12 Jan 2024 . Not sure what happened... might have been the Holidays... Will keep you posted. I am in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Took a 1000 NM trip yesterday in MSFS 2020 C 172 G1000..... Cant wait for Knobster to end this very difficult time with Flight Planning and Radio Frequency tuning in G 1000. Air Manager will be the next project and I would like to set up the cockpit for a Cessna 402C G1000. Open to any suggestions from those who have had this experience. Thank You.... WVSF-VFR

OK finally received the Knobster, Downloaded in both X Plane and MSFS 2020. Works GREAT... just what we needed to overcome the akward dial operations in G1000 in MSFS. Now a new challenge... The Icon for KnobFS keeps Disappearing from the Menu Bar? Only wa Dy to retrieve it is to Re-download from Sim Innovations and reboot MSFS. Is this Normal? I suspect I am doing something wrong.... Does not do that in X Plane 11 or 12. Interesting.... In my next life I am going to come back as a Computer system developer .... this is really fun...

No that's not normal. It should have a log file somewhere, but I don't exactly recall where.
