Moving map G4/530 display on remote machine

#1 Post by newhopemusician »

Hi - I've fiddled with air manager on my iPad but haven't yet purchased the desktop version so I have a question about moving map functionality in a Garmin 4/530.

In my ideal setup I will have Machine 1 running Xplane and Machine 2 running Air Manager with a touch screen monitor and a Garmin 4/530 from Air Manager. My question is will Machine 2 actually show the moving map, or will it display a red screen similar to what the iPad does?

Thanks, I appreciate that, however that page refers to the "simulator device itself". Is that the primary instance of where Xplane is running? In my scenario I will have two instances of the sim, one primary and one networked secondary instance as a remote display. Do both count as the simulator device for air manager or only the primary?

This is great thank you. Will this also work for Air Manager on an iPad?

For now you are better off doing this on a single machine. Or two pcs. With a touchscreen it works great
