Doesn't matter, it works either way. Please see our wiki for connection issues.

I've spent quite some time looking at the wiki with no luck, hence the post on here

Can you post the content of the flight simulator log?

Where do I find it in FSX, sorry I know where it is in XP, but not FSX, the only thing I can find is Logbook.bin
Apologies

yep, as mentioned before, I have already spent ages looking at that page - do you mean the log I posted in my original post? I'm struggling here

Re: Air Plugin Installing finding FSX install when I have FSXSE
FSX and Prepar3D
To confirm that the plugin is loaded go to: C:/users/<user_name>/Air Plugin/ and look for either fsx_log.txt in case of FSX, p3d_log.txt in case of Prepar3D.
Re: Air Plugin Installing finding FSX install when I have FSXSE
Thanks for the reply, but isn't that what I posted in my original post?
It says I'm not connected, but windows firewall is all ticked, and I'm connected through wired ethernet so therefore I've reached the limit of my networking skills sadly.
Sorry, I'm obviously missing something obvious
Thanks anyway

I've spent fours or five hours on it now so I'll call it a day. Thanks for the help.
