I guess that was your question? I'm a little confused... Or was it about the hall sensor?

Hi,

I thought I was clear,
I WANT TO KNOW WITCH HALL SENSOR IS BEST FOR USE IN AIR MANAGER? Referring to one of the 8 in the #1 post are the best to use in AM.

The "MOTOR DRIVER" is a TB6600 and the motor is a NEMA 17.
The "HALL SENSOR is used to detect motor position.

Hi,

@Ralph @Corjan
When you have a few moments to spare. Take a look at the build.
I want to make a Air Manager version of this.

Hi,

Just for interest sake this is 4 x TB6600 drivers connected to an arduino UNO.
The hat is a Stepper Driver Breakout Board, MKS CD V1.0 that saves the UNO.

I would assume the "VID66-06" would handle the driving of the steppers.

Hi,

Love it when I talk to myself...
And then again one could also use one of these if AM allows

I have never had a hall sensor in my hands, so I don't think I can give you much useful input. But I would guess that they all give a value from 0 to 1.

Hi,

I guess someone is going to be curious and purchase one of each. Hall sensor and closed loop stepper driver that is.
Please let me know how they work with AM.

for hall sensors use -

You don't need closed loop but you can easily make it from ANY nema motor with an exposed end shaft and any standard stepper controller.
Using the small opposing polar magnet you can us it one the end of any exposed motor shaft

Karl's designs are great in the plastic way but after that ......... :? :)

It is not rocket surgery

Enjoy..
