Air player disconnected

Good evening,

I have read a couple of threads about it in this forum but still I can find an answer.

 I have been able to connect AP with AM, but sometimes after several tries. Now I am not able to connect any more. It says “Disconected”. I think the network is working fine. This is the ping from the office computer to the simulator computer

C:\Users\Alvaro>ping 192.168.1.42

Please Alvaro, post logs between related tags required for such data
Anyway, did you updated to latest Air Manager plugin ? Are you on Wifi ? Are you using any firewall ?

Good morning,

I formatted my previous mail. No wifi, both computers are connected with a ethernet cable to a switch. And see the pings in my previous post, all under 1 milisecond. Both computer have Windows 10 with Windows defender firewall, but I disconnected the firewall in both to do the testing. Still unable to connect to Air Player. AM, AP and the plugins are updated to the last version.

and again, please ensure you are using the latest plugins.

I just checked I have the latest plugins in both computers. Both 'Network profile' are set to "Private" (not "Public")

Did you thought of any network wiring issue ? Bad connection ? Yes the ping is good but with bad connectors or contact it will broke the connection in a regular basis
Please try by replacing each network cable (RJ45) one by one with newer or other that the ones in place and report again ...

Being able to ping doesn't say a thing. This is in almost any case a firewall issue, or the router.

Good afternoon. I have been doing some testing.

- I replaced the switch with a new one
- I replaced both RJ-45 UTP cables
- Tested with this switch connected and disconnected from the main home internet router
- Tested with Windows Defender on and off in both computers.
- Ping works fine both ways, less than 1 ms (I know this is not relevant)
- Folder sharing works fine both ways.

And more important:

- I launch Xplane in the “simulator computer” → Air Manager in “office computer” sees it instantly.
2022-12-20 16:44:34.008 INFO SimBusConnectionHandler - Discovered X-plane on 192.168.1.42:55556 (am_port=55558)

- But Air Manager in “office computer” does not see Air Player in the “simulator computer” (see logs in previous posts).

Note: “simulator computer” is 192,168,1,42 and “office computer” is 192,168,1,45

My only doubt is that one of the network cards may be defective, but everything runs very fast, including the connection and the panels between xplane in one computer and Air Manager in the other. It’s only the connection between AM and AP what doesn’t work
