Touch screen problem only with switch

#1 Post by jojo86 »

Hi, in air manager, I can’t activate switchs like light, pitot and others…
I can select a knob like altimeter or HDG, the knob become yellow, and I can turn it with my usb knobster.

So, the touch works but only with knobs.
Same issue with my mouse when I click on virtuals switchs…

Can you help me? I tried to look options but impossible to solve the problem.

Thank you very much.

The Knobster is designed for dials and buttons in dials center
You didn't mentioned the panels or instruments you are using ?

Yes I know that knobster is for dials… I have no problem with dials.
My problem is with others buttons. For exemple with cessna 172 panel (but this is the same for all panels), il y want to activate sole lights, for exemple, taxi, bcn, strobe, when I touch the screen with my finger nothing happen… Switch stay in the same position…

But with dials it works well…

I tried with proline 21 autopilot and the problem is the same.

I guess you're using recent 4.2 Beta, where there's issue with Touch feature. Try with 4.1.5 Final and report again ...

You are not understanding the intended operation of a knobster. It was designed to make rotary control easier. A simple button or switch can be easily operated without it so It will only highlight yellow and therefore work with dials and switches with 3 or more positions. What you are experiencing is perfectly normal.

It was you who did not understand my message. I have no problem with the rotary knob. I just can't get the switches to work with my finger on the touchscreen. I'm not looking to activate the switches with the rotary knob. I'm not stupid either.

Have you also checked to ensure mouse and touch is enabled in the settings ?

Hi, are you talking about input mode?
I selected Mouse and Touch. but I can’t click the virtuals switches with my mouse too…

That’s weird.
