What do you find 'weird' about that Keith ?. It (looking like windows search) simply appears to be picking up the UUID from a copy of the directory you have on your D Drive in your self-made backup directory.
Hi,
Yes it is a simple windows search of the original instruments\OPEN_DIRECTORY folder.
I am suppressed that there is a UUID folder within a UUID folder and a duplicate of the same instrument within the OPEN_DIRECTORY copy.
Question is.... Who created it????
My first guess is the the PANEL module within AM. When I deleted my OPEN_DIRECTORY folder content, but not my panels, and restarted AM, AM automatically added all the instruments within the panels.
This is consistant with what
@SimPassion is reporting.
Instrument within a panel are duplicated in the OPEN_DIRECTORY folder
This I reported back in post #42 When the entire OPEN_DIRECTORY folder was deleted and instruments were automatically added to the OPEN_DIRECTORY folder. Some sort of bug here i suspect and "may be " a bit of corruption of files.
I had one empty UUID that had a PNG file in it. I will look for that instrument and see if exists. I sure hope this is an isolated incident and not affected other instruments.
Anyway this is for
@Corjan benefit. I am sure he understands.
