Hi,

That is very nice. Thank you. Where do I find in the API? A pointer please. I looked and searched and did not find anything.

Also what instruments in the store has this manual so that I can play around with it a bit.?

Keith,

The API is not required to add this. Just place the PDF in the panel folder and AM takes care of the rest. No panels have this yet as it’s brand new and obviously beta only presently.

@Corjan

Heads up..The import button in create/edit seems broken. I can import the same instruments in AM4.1x but not in AM4.2 (beta 6)
I did try more than one instrument.

@Corjan

AM 4.2 beta also does not allow for panel creation. When creating a panel the blank is not available.

@Corjan @Ralph

I am sure i am a pain where you sit. But I am just trying to help get AM to a more awesome r product than the awesome product it is.

Peeps are BETA testing AM4.2 and reporting bugs and issues. Each of us here are reporting different things and there is no log of the bugs and no acknowledgment that the bug has been added to the todo list or that you are aware.

The most important choice to keep us beta testers engaged is a courteous response to each bug report. That encourages peeps to use the BETA and participate in it's development. Most of us here are not here to criticize, but to help in the development of the product we love.

First choice would be list of bugs/issues
This is what xplane 12 are doing. Bugs and issues acknowledged then when fixed reported as fixed.
Bug Fixes
Beta 14
XPD-13432 – Fix for washed out forests.
XPD-13433 – Possible cloud type/coverage bug.
XPD-13423 – Crash cancelling landing clearance under some circumstances.
XPD-13388 – Create Multi-Texture Allocate API.
XPD-13387 – Allocation Arenas for VRAM based on lifetime.
XPD-13367 – Filing a flightplan airborne while already controlled clears most status, potentially making it impossible to continue.
XPD-13087 – Flickering of shadows starting after a few minutes when using real weather – frequency dependent on camera movement speed.
XPD-13085 – Taxiways on some airports blocked by underpass object.
XPD-12793 – Cloud transfer buffer is repeatedly re-allocated.
XPD-12783 – Some residential roads have no streetlights at all.
XPD-13435 – Improve SSAO on terrain at altitude.
XPD-13422 – Tone down color temperature changes.
XPD-13418 – Remove more outdated Aerosoft custom airports.
XPD-13413 – Library: legacy OBJ-based trees are now deprecated.
XPD-13412 – For airports with no defined flows, autogen’d flows should be created for low-vis conditions where not all runways have ILS.
XPD-13410 – Approach altitude steps are transmitting before checking terrain avoidance resulting in unnecessary calls.
XPD-13397 – From Bug Report: A330 Airbus Interior Objects not “hi res” in Plane Maker.

This way all are in the loop of what is fixed, what still is in the todo list and what has not been reported yet.

Just trying to help and arrest the frustration our side.

Hi,

Another one. Add a instrument to a panel then decide to remove it and replace with another one. Stop start the panel no change.
Only resolve seems to shut down AM and restart.

We'll be back to bug hunting somewhere soon. We had/have some other stuff to finish. Apologies for the delay.

Hi,

Trying to test the above issue we seem to add duplicate instruments.

Hi,

I understand and appreciate that you guys are busy and have just come from a show that is intended to bring in deservedly more business for SI. However, from our end we are trying to help and give feedback. If we do not give feedback then you guys may chase your tail for longer.

Just a thank you for that report, we know of that one, it is on our todo list.... gives encouragement to us and stops many reports of the same issue and keeps us updated on progress.
We do not expect things to be fixed at the click of a finger. Just acknowledgment and feedback on progress would be cool.
