Missing DME data MSFS

#1 Post by k8jb »

I'm not sure where to look but I can't get any DME data even if the the tuned station is transmitting the range. The instrument can receive the station for directional info but not for range. I'm primarily concerned with the Aerosoft DHC-6 but I have the same issue with every smaller aircraft I've tried. The Aersosoft DHC-6 has several non-functional instruments so I've built them using AirManager and they work fine - except the DME.

In the LUA script, I use the "NAV HAS DME" flag and it's always false. "NAV HAS NAV" works fine so I'm at a loss - my script (copied from a published instrument), the Aerosoft implementation or MSFS.

Any ideas?

John

Nevermind, operator error. Forgot the ":1" in the variable subscription! Stupid mistake!

Not really an operator error I think, because as I remember, there's no mentioning of this in their API. Or is there?
