Capitan_Bill,
right you have got a point there. I will put this on my list. I hope I will find the time soon to create a brightness control instrument.

Thanks

Hi pilots,
here is the display control instrument. I also submitted it here to the lib.

I have just downloaded your panels for PMDG 737, thank you very much. For some reason the FSUIPC panels wont show on Air player on secondary PC, all your other panels will show. Is this a setting somewhere?

Best regards
Henrik
Hello Henrik,
I don't have Airplayer. I do everything on one PC. But I just looked into the Wiki for Airplayer. It says:

"If you want to run instruments in Air Player that are not part of the Sim Innovations library, then these have to be pushed from the Create/Edit tab. Go to the Create/Edit tab, select your Air Player, then select your custom instrument(s) and press Push. To multi select instruments, press SHIFT or CTRL while selecting your instruments."

And other then that I am not sure what happens with the FSUIPC dependency. The instruments should work on another computer I guess, because all they need are Lvars, regardless where they come from. So FSUIPC (and my LuaOk.lua FSUIPC script) must run on the main PC that runs MSFS.

Sorry, I cannot test that.

Hi Detlef

I tried pushing the instruments, and everything is working now on Air Player. The values are also shown correctly on FSUIPC instruments.

Thank you!

Hi guys,

I don't understand FSUIPC. As far as I assume, the $30 registered version is needed to run the PMDG MCP and the Fenix FCU, is that correct? I installed the "full version" available at their site, but I cannot operate the autopilot panels, so I am just wondering if I need to put money into it. How do FSUIPC and AM interact?

Thanks, Olli

Hi Olli, I guess we have to not miss to add the specific LUA file to be handled in the dedicated FSUIPC folder install !?!

Hi Olli,

please have a closer look on the documentation I provide with the instrument package (on flightsim.to only because FSUIPC is not supported by Siminnovations). Simpassion is right, the PmdgOk.lua file must be present in the FSUIPC directory, and the following entries must be made:

1=Lua PmdgOk
in the [Auto] section of fsuipc.ini.

You also need to add this entry to the 737_Options.ini file of FS2020:
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1

Thanks, in the meantime I found the documentation. I had to look quite a while to find the 737_options.lua. Not sure if I want to buy a licence though. I like setting up stuff, but don't find much time to really fly. So often times I find myself buying stuff, but not using it :? :oops:

First of all thank for your effort. Amazing instruments. I have a question regarding the utilitiy4 siff instrument for troubleshooting the fspuipc variables. Where can I find it? In generic? I haven't found it. Please help

Thanks again

Hi @kardoxloma,

glad you like the instruments. Nobody ever asked my about that utility instrument until now :) . I thought I had uploaded it on flightsim.to with the base package. I cannot do that to the lib here because the utility is related to my instruments needing FSUIPC, which is not supported here. Long words, no sense, here is the utility instrument:
Generic - Utilitiy4 - Show MCP Lvars.siff
