Very nice indeed! Do these combine into a full overhead panel? In that case it will be nice to add a panel for this.

amazing work as always Detlef.
One question though please ? - is it actually possible to 'pop out' the main 6 glass displays on the PMDG ?
I seem to remember reading it was not due to the way they are written?
perhaps I am thinking of something else :)
cheers,
Joe

Thank you. I had provided two test panels. I can make an additional one with only overhead instrument.

BUT: how are the users supposed to know, how they can make full use of the illumination features? I had provided a PDF file as documentation. I feel it is really a missing feature in Airmanager, that instrument and panel developers cannot provide additional information for a set of instruments. As an example, in my case the dome white switch instrument must be present as well as an instrument that is not mine (ambient light dimmer) and so on. Just to have all that in the info section of an instrument, is not sufficient in my eyes.

What do you propose?

Thank you,
Detlef

PDF's are already going to be a part of 4.2, so no need to worry about that.
An overhead layout would be nice, like the Zibo. If you want then we can turn it into a portrait and landscape.

Hi @Detlef , this should be added at the panel root folder and named "manual.pdf". Only visible when we add a panel in the [Home] tab, though.
One question would be : "how do we access to this manual, when we are not devs guys, after the panel was added ?" ... does it there any missing icon or shortcut for it ??? 🤔

As mentioned, there will be a button for it in 4.2.

Hi Joe,
I think yes. I just tried quick and dirty, just pilot and copilot screens (without the CDU displays). It looks like this (two monitors next to each other combined in one picture):

I actually use two views, with the CDU always visible:
base panel:

base panel with overhead instruments on top:

@Ralph,
that is good news, thank you.
So yes, I will assemble an overhead landscape panel.
