Should be a very nice idea to build and design your first instrument and submit it to the Online Store for the community. You'll see how one feel good when such nice exercise is achieved ... ;-)

My guess is, it's more grateful to build our first instrument our-self than claiming someone to produce each single one we need
Now you do how you want

Hi all,

I spent a lot of time on the illumination functions of the PMDG 737 instruments and will provide them very soon. This is how the instruments look in my environment/panels:

In order for the illuminatin functions to work, the Ambient Light Dimmer instrument must be installed. I have tried in this video to explain things.
I hope the link works (not sure): https://www.dropbox.com/s/dzfqd3o7vgro9 ... s.mp4?dl=0

Good job with the night panels. Happy to see someone putting the ambient dimmer to good use in another collection of instruments. :)

Hi Crunchmeister,
yes, the dimmer instrument is great. One thing, that I notice is, that in some darker wheather conditions, rain while standing at the gate for example, the daylight value seems to be a bit brighter than the light in the virtual cockpit or when looking out the window. Do you know if the instrument is still being worked on, maybe updated at some time?
Thank you
Detlef

Todd, the member of our team who coded up the weather / dimming portion, does want to revisit this to get the values more accurate. It works really well atm, but he wants to revisit it to get it to match more closely. Not sure when he'll be revisiting this, but it will be happening at some point.
