Need help with a clock

#1 Post by Raceguy »

Hello everyone

I've had Air Manager for several years but still don't understand something simple like a default clock.

I'm running P3Dv4.5 on W10 and have installed the Beechcraft B58 clock on one of my screens. I want the clock to match my PC.
Everytime I start Air Manager the clock matches the minutes but is off 1-4 hours, and a different amount each time. I have looked at the code hoping to see
a setting for Eastern Daylight time but with no luck.

Would someone please help me set this clock to Eastern time?

Thank you
Ed

The clock matches the 'clock' in P3D game and the time will vary depending on the 'time of day' that is being used for that flight in the game......
That is where you should be looking.
It is not an Air Manager issue.

There is local and UTC. It might even be that the instrument has a setting for this.

It could be made to show the PC time I suppose but then it wouldn’t show the correct time for the time of day you have set in the sim. As Ralph said most clocks give you an option of UTC or local time but these are both based on the time chosen in the sim.

I had a look, and the Baron 58 clock indeed has a setting for local or UTC.

Hi everyone

Thanks for all the suggestions but I'm still having the same issue, which is me not understanding the code.

I did notice a message that the instrument was online so I cloned it to my PC.

Ralph, I found the UTC/Local selection button and it was set to local. I tried UTC and there was no change on the clock so I set it back to local.

Everytime I start the PC the time difference on the clock vs the PC will vary from 1-4 hours.

Please help me get this very simple item working.

Thank you
Ed

In the Create Edit tab there's a button called Viewer, it let's you see the raw incoming data from the simulator. My guess is that this data is incorrect, and if so, there's nothing to do about it Lockheed Martin would have to fix that.

Make sure also that the options are correct for starters
