The Raspberry Pi Air Player is deprecated and was replaced by a Air Player for ARM Linux, which requires the regular Air Player desktop license. We will send out coupon codes in two weeks (next week we're going to Aero Friederichshafen).

Right now only 32 bit is available, but 64 bit will be available soon as well. Regarding performance there's no difference.

I might be able to send out the coupons on Monday. But I also have to finish the administration of Q1 :(

I do not have much experience with linux. However, it took a while until I could manage to install airplayer on the raspi.
I would appreciate if you could manage to send out the coupons on Monday, because I like to do some testing.

Hello! Will there be a Wiki page describing the new installation procedures for Raspberry Pi users? I currently run 2 Air Player instrument panels from 2 RPi 2Bs. I just today purchased a new RPi 4, I'm planning to combine the 2 displays onto the one device, so I'll be setting up the new RPi 4 from scratch. Will it need an image like before, or do I need an OS on the Pi first?

thanks, Dave

Thanks, Ralph! Will I be able to transfer one of my current RPi Air Player licenses to the new Air Player version?

Hi,
I tried everything according your instructions. The installation went fine, no problems.
When trying to statrt AirPlayer I'm receiving the following massage:

20-04-2023 21:30:50.515 INFO Bootloader: Starting---
20-04-2023 21:30:50.515 INFO Bootloader: Asking for application Linst online. Attempt 1 of 1.
20-04-2023 21:31:01.375 INFO Bootloader: Found application List online
20-04-2023 21:31:01.375 INFO Bootloader: Starting application ./AirPlayer

And nothing happens after that.
I do not have a clue to get AirPlayer to show up on my 5inch display. Nothing is showing up on AirManger, Laptop and Raspi are in the same wlan.

You can follow the instructions in the video. Note that Air Player has no UI, there's nothing indicating that it is running.
