"Air Manager is already running"

After a few weeks of the machine turned off, I did all of the Windows 10 updates, NVIDIA updates, and a full reinstall of MSFS2020 (long story).

Reinstalled the AM plugin but now AM is throwing an error "Air Manager is already running. Only one instance of Air Manager is allowed to run" then closes. I notice that OpenJDK starts as a process for AM, but then dies when I click "Okay" to the error.

Any assistance would be grateful as my sim relies wholly on AM!

We have had more reports of this issue.

Would you mind sending me this file:
C:\Users\%user_name\Air Manager\lock.json


Removing this file afterwards will probably fix the issue,

Hi,

If the problem comes back, would you mind checking if the process_id in the file is present in Task manager?
My guess is there is a different application that takes the same process id.
