USB C connection
USB C connection
I would want to connect my iPad to Air Manager with a USB C cable. No wifi. Is there any problem with that??
Re: USB C connection
I mean connect the tablet to my Mac desktop with a USB C...
Re: USB C connection
Hi,
The Air Manager app on the iPad can only connect to the flight sim through Ethernet/WiFi.
It cannot connect to the desktop version of Air Manager.

Re: USB C connection
Should go Android - - they DO do ethernet via OTG.. very simple to do cost is less than 4 euro or about 5 american sheckles / rubles. No idea about 'apple' as it is simply overpriced and under 'specced'
PLUS you won't be ripped off by the price and have to give your first born away for nothing more than a logo.
USB C ? - Ethernet ? - absolutely not a problem - for Android ............................................

Hi,
Seems like the same thing also works on iPads/iPhones:

Would think apple locked this tight also, but seems not .

Re: USB C connection
That's excellent. I posted a link to a great little adapter (USB C to Ethernet) the other day. only cost about 4 euro delivered - AliExpress. There are no drivers. It is purely based on the chipset. I believe this does say it works with IOS. I tried several and this did exactly what it says on the tin. It is also very well constructed. Of course I took one apart to check I can find the chipset used if it is of use ? - It will be exactly the same as the Belkin and Amazon ones linked to but of course the Amazon ones can be their the next day.Corjan wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 3:09 pm Hi,

Re: USB C connection
I have a cable made up of 3 connectors....ethernet to USB C. It makes my phone get internet via ethernet. So to be clear...if I bought the new iPad with its connector(USB C?) and the other end connect it to my Mac desktop..and run Xplane 11
it would work...?
it would work...?
Re: USB C connection
I guess its better to just use wifi when you are flying..
another question....This app and what it can do is very unclear regarding Mac.....
anyway..If I buy the iPad version for 22 $ it will allow me to select a 172 panel or build my own and drag it onto the iPad..yes???? But only the panels in the iOS app, correct?
Can I use touch on the iPad, //yes/no
Can I use the Knobster with the touch and iPad //yes/no
