I'm lazy, I'll just continue here
We're making hardware for an Airbus H135, the panels (in the real aircraft) have 2mm aluminium back plates, the acrylic panel is 6.35mm / 1/4 inch. The 6.35mm is a standard, but since it is a bit harder to get your hands on, we decided to go with 6mm and a 2mm aluminium back plate.
If you want to go all the way, then you use the Dzus standards for the mounting: https://mycockpit.org/tutorials/Panelbu ... nsions.pdf

Hi,
My version of the dzus rails for the overhead.
Doing the panels properly so that peeps that want to use my design and use the dzus McCoy can do so. I might change to the McCoy later, but $$$ going into the dev so far.
That is my kitchen breakfast counter. The garage is packed and the dinging room table has the CNC on it,

Hi,
This is the back of the center panel. I will most likely have to paint it black to stop back-light bleed.
