Hi

I am struggling to create a MAP display like this

I have tried the map option in AM, but i cannot rotate the map with that function.
So now i was trying to read map data with the nav_get_nearest feature.
I read the plane latitude/longitude and nearest airport data for instance.

I need some help; how can i translate latitude/longitude info to a place on the canvas?

You would have to translate lat/long distance to pixel distance. There's a new feature in 4.1 (not available yet), which let's you calculate the distance between two coordinates in meters, and give you a bearing. That might be useful in this case.
