panel layout change are not transmitted in Create/Edit mode

I am starting to try the panel script feature.

I think I have encountered a bug, or at least an unexpected behaviour:

When a panel layout is modified in the panel tab (say for example that one instrument is moved), the new position of each instrument in the panel is not transmitted to the panel you are working on in Create/edit, the initial position is used when the panel is run in create/edit

Any thoughts?

You will have to add your panel layout in the Home tab again to see the changes. They're two separate things. Your panel in the Home tab 'pulls' its configuration from your layout, but once it has been created, it's an entity on its own.
To test your new panel layout, you can run it from the Create/Edit tab, then you'll see live changes.

Oh and it also works the other way around if you clone from a panel in the home tab.

Sorry but I don’t get it. In the create/edit tab, there is no way to modify the layout of the panel (modify the position of an instrument), AFAIK. It can only be done in the Home tab.

You can modify the positions. Open the Info window and you'll be able to change the X Y values.
