AM 4.1 BETA27

#1 Post by Daniel_EDDH »

Hi Ralph,
I am using AM since 1 month with 2 Wixamit touch screens and 1 Knobster with the G1000 PFD/MFD frames in
the FS 2020/C172. Changing to BETA27 i can dial eg. the COM knob with the Knobster and i see it wheeling on the screen but the frequency digits didńt change. All other knobs same and all buttons are not responsive. I would be sure that the setup is ok, because it already worked before.
Is that a known issue, or do you have an idea what to do? Do you need more info from me?
Cheers Daniel

Sounds just like an old fashioned network issue. Please see our wiki for help.

checked alle items from mentioned page:
- Firewall: deaktivated, FS and AM started: negativ result
- Same network: FS and AM are running on the same pc, so this does not apply for me
- Plugin: Version 3.8. BETA 4, successful loading of plugin confirmed by log:

- Instrument: G1000 Bezel is compatible for FS2020
Instruments remain as described below. I can see the yellow highlighted circle, knobs are rotating, but nothing happens. Pushbuttons are also not responsive.

Using the classic Cessna panel I see that e.g. the Trim Indication, the Flap indicator, Temp correction Airspeed Indicator are moving corresponding to the imput, but:
VOR´s, Altimeter not.
I have no idea, what else can i try?

The plugin is doing fine, so it's a network issue. You can try setting the IP address in Air Manager manually, if it is on the same machine then that's 127.0.0.1

It is in the Settings tab. Set the simulator you want to use and then fill in your IP address.

Hello Ralph, I entered the IP address but no changes. Does it make sense to reinstall AM? Or any other suggestions?
To be honest, AM worked before the last update. Do you see a correlation?

No that does not make a difference. The problem is somewhere between the plugin and Air Manager, but it's hard for us to say what it is. If you don't trust the plugin then you can go for the release version instead of the beta. I rather expect the problem somewhere in FS2020 or in the network.
