I was trying to drive a 16x2 LCD screen (HD44780 based - 4 bit mode) as part of an Auto Pilot project I want to use with Air Manager 4. I started experimenting with Circuit Python first to work out how I might use the display. When I moved over to AM4 I was unable to get the API example Lua script http://siminnovations.com/wiki/index.ph ... dd#HD44780 to work on the same hardware setup that was working well with Circuit Python. I would appreciate your help in pointing out the obvious mistake I have made here?
