Yes a new job since a few days, unfortunately not in the flying business, I am now a science teacher

Anyways, back to the subject at hand.

Here's the image that's worth one thousand words.

The star is at the exact center of the image every time, hence where the image will be rotated by using rotate(image_id, angle).
The pink background should obviously be "transparent" ( so both images look the same when imported in AM) but I changed the color for better understanding, and the black star lines are for positioning purposes, can be done using Keith Baxter's code.

To be transparent, it is a two steps process in Skinman:
1-the pink background should be used only for "cropping" the whole image to what's actually visible

In Skinman you do that by selecting in the menu "adjust the image only to what's visible", the rectangle being bigger than the needle.

Once the image cropped to the proper size, simply "hide" the pink rectangle and save your image as .png format with alpha channel

Makes perfect sense and the way it should be done.

If not done that way there is a fix option to rotate using the anchor options.
