I have all the latest updates. Ended up buying a small 15" portable monitor and plugged it into my computer. Then used it as a second monitor with air manager on it.

Help Please!

So I've installed:
- AM 5.0.4
- MSFS2024 - 1.38.2.0
- Flightsim Plugins 4.3.1 Home Use (Windows 64-bit)

and when I try to install the plugin, it doesn't work.

So I downloaded "Flightsim Plugins 4.4 Home Use (BETA 1) (Windows 64-bit)", but when I run this, it seems to launch an app called "Plugin installer 4.3" oddly not 4.4

Both the 4.3 installer and the 4.4 installer say "Not Found" for FS2024.

My FS installation is on another drive, rather than my C drive, because of the size of it. Perhaps this is the issue?

Error details:
Checking for existance of directory: C:\Users\olausroe\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Checking for existance of directory: C:\Users\olausroe\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Checking for existance of directory: C:\Users\olausroe\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Did not find MSFS installation

Any help appreciated... Thanks

Presumably, no one has responded to you yet because you posted your problem in the wrong place. It really belongs here:

I suggest a simple solution that also prevents subsequent errors caused by moving the file to another drive.

Uninstall MSFS 2024.
Reinstall MSFS 2024 on drive C. It only requires 8.7 GB.
Start MSFS 2024 and relocate the Rolling Cache and Community folders. These can total several hundred GB. How this works within MSFS is explained in these two YouTube videos:

  • Rolling Cache:
  • Community Folder:
If you then delete any existing rolling cache file on C:,MSFS requires no more than 9GB of space on the C drive.

The fact that the plugin installer has the wrong file name, the title bar of the installer window displays the wrong version, and the file info displays the wrong version is a glitch that confuses many people. Someone should address this.

If this solution isn't enough for you, get in touch again.
