Panel Not Update MSFS 2020

Hello,

I am having a horrible time trying to get Air Manager working, I am aware this is likely 99.99% my fault. I have read the instruction manual, searched the forums, wiki, youtube and of course google.

Here are a few details that you may or may not need to know to help me out.

Air Manager Version: 4.2.11 (paid)


Just as a test to see if I could get ANYTHING to work I uninstalled Air Manager and reinstalled the software with no errors. The plugin to MSFS 2020 says 'Connected to FS 2020' in the lower right corner of the Air Manager screen.

I apologize for the excessive detail but I feel like I am missing something fundamental and would love to get this working.

Here are the steps I am following to create a basic panel for the Cessna 172.

Started MSFS 2020
Selected the Cessna 172
Picked an airport and a runway - aircraft is running
Home Tab > Panel+
Selected Cessna 172 - Default FS 2020 aircraft
Add
Display #1 (just for testing)
Add

Panel Settings
I did not change anything here, it’s all default. Locked, Always on Top, Focusable, Click-through are all UNCHECKED.

I clicked the lightbulb and the panel pops up, no issues. However, if I touch, or click, the BAT switch on the panel nothing happens. There is no animation in Air Manager and the sim is not updated. However, if I go to the sim and click the same button the switch change is reflected in Air Manager.

What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am at a complete standstill and I have no idea what resource(s) to read in addition to what I already have. Even YouTube University failed to provide an answer to what I am doing wrong.

Ok,

My Windows 11 Firewall is turned off for Public and Private networks

I am on this step:

- Go to (Windows) Settings
- Select 'Network & Internet'
- In the Network status page click the 'Properties' button below your network connection.
- You will see a page with the title 'Network profile', here you can choose between Public and Private, make sure that this is set to Private on all your (Windows) simulator computers.

- Go to (Windows) Settings (NO PROBLEM)
- Select 'Network & Internet' (NO PROBLEM)

- In the Network status page click the 'Properties' button below your network connection.

There is nothing on the Network and Internet page that says Network Status or Properties
