Any pioneers with KnobFS in B727, B747, B777 all on MSFS?

#1 Post by TommyK »

I made the mistake earlier plunging into Air Manager and Knobster for use with the Boeing planes. I kind of failed. And some technical reasons make that so. For various reasons the community of use seems largely focused on general aviation aircraft.

Now with some experience and a bit of real flying, I see a solid case for KnobFS and a new Knobster on the big Boeing planes. I’m just concerned that I don’t know what may be in my way as I don’t see any discussion of my use cases.

So any proof of life would be much appreciated and I’m sure helpful to future customers with this question. Specifically the new 727 and 777, but also the 747-800 for life. :)

What's the actual question? :) Are you looking for modes for KnobFS for Boeings?
You can quite easily make them yourself: https://siminnovations.com/wiki/index.p ... nced_usage

We're releasing a 737 panel soon for Zibo in X-Plane, the plan is to make that compatible with PMDG in MSFS afterwards.

What I really mean is to hear from a user that has successfully utilized the Knobster 2 with the KnobFS application on these planes. E.g. does the PMDG implementation cause a problem or does it just work? Maybe I’m seeing a boogie man where it doesn’t exist, but AirManager experience made me think.

It's just a matter of creating the modes.
