Looking for a homecockpit seat on a budget

Hey there,

I'd like to get a cheap, yet reasonable seat for my homecockpit. In the past I was looking for those rally-seats, but they start at 200€. I am looking for a >100€ pricetag,
perhaps a used seat plus console will do. But which one? Smart seats look alright. Some support for the lumbal region would be nice.
Are there any experiences, recommendations?

Go to a car breakers and buy a passenger seat from a quality high end trim car. Passenger seat as it has far far less traffic and asses sat on it compared to the driver's seat !

Get the height adjustable, lumbar adjustable rake adjustable - hell ! - get electric and heated too !

and YES, I am being 100% serious.

I see your point with a fancy seat. However, if I do that my spouse will probably object due to spending too much time in my room
I am looking for a simple setup first with two 23" monitors and an above 34" for outside view, later a small military/GA universal cockpit with a single G1000 and force feedback stick. It's better not to use my desk chair as I used to, because the small cockpit will have it's seat at a lower heigth like in a military plane/heli/glider.

I don't think that a fancy seat will be expensive when you get it from a car breaker.

I finally decided for a racing car seat. Now mounting it, even with the seat most forward, the stick is too far away from the seat. In neutral position my arms are pretty much straight.
Of course I could try to cut out a bit of the seat, but it would be messy.
Do any of you guys use car seats and a stick? Or only yokes?
