Electronics International MVP50

#1 Post by ricardo »

I took the JPI EDM 830 code, and copy and pasted my way to a decent first draft of the EI MVP-50

I plan to do a few more features, like adding SCAN and CYL SEL modes for the display.

XPlane only. -- just did the first page of the instrument, not a real representation of the actual EI MVP50.

Looks good. Although looking simple on the outside, these things are very complex.

Hi,

No it is not. However I will share it with you by sending via PM if you want.

It is incomplete and was done for XP11. I did try it in XP12 quickley and some things do not work so will need some investigating.
We can discuss on the Discord to get you up to speed with what I was doing.

The real deal is very complex and has tons of features -- i just did the first page, and no features other than a static page --

plenty if you just want the look of the MVP50 .. but its nothing like the real deal .. -- i played with one for at air show a few days ago, and it inspired me to do this instrument.. (plus i wanted to learn how to do make an instrument) -- its alot of manual labor lining up the little details..

hope some enjoy it.
