Hi @russ, I guess the red lines on the edge are only there for the POC and could be removed at any time ??

Any reason that this wouldn't work in Prepar3d?

Russ, I have no idea why my post was deleted !... I was simply saying that this needs another few years to be really of use. At the moment it is purely rudimentary, along with basic xp graphics.
I went to a computer show in Earle's Court in the 1990's and VR was going to be the 'next best thing'....................................
Still the same applies. Nothing there would make me want to buy the facebook headset.

Holy sh....
Russ this is incredible.
We've come a long way since I was 9 years old playing Flight Simuator on Apple IIc mono-green screen.

I started looking at this some time last year, and the only pathway I could see was Vario. But at thousands to buy the headset, and then a thousand plus per year to subscribe to updates is waaaaaay beyond reach for a home sim.
I watched a vid on the Meta Quest 3 virtual desktop and thought - this is it! But in my research couldn't see a way to make it work.

Quadruple kudos to you for finding a way and showing how flight sim mixed reality can work with a very reasonlbly priced headset.
As you say, hopefully it gets easier soon!
I'm one of 'those' mac guys. (and I have no idea why I can't afford to eat)
