As I stated in a previous post, I got a new computer because my first (also new) computer did not have a USB-C 3.1 port which is required to run the WINMAXIT monitor. I was able to return my first new computer with 2 days remaining in the return period and I built a second one with my son-in-law. The new one has USB-C 3.1 ports so the monitor came on and I could even move different windows over to it so it should run Air Manager fine. Except....
The screen originally looked like it was supposed to look, but the touchscreen did not work properly. At first, it operated as a mouse for the primary screen. In other words, when I touched the screen, I could see it moving on the other monitor. I then moved the computer into my office from the table where we built it and now it lights up and then goes dark, the same behavior as with the original computer, even though it worked right after we built the computer.
Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Thanks for any help.

Re: Trouble with WINMAXIT monitor
To follow up on the previous post:
First, I misspelled the name of the monitor; it is WIMAXIT.
Second, I left the room and when I returned, the screen was on, I could move windows over to it, and it still acts like a mouse for the other screen.
Go figure.

Re: MORE Trouble with WIMAXIT monitor
To follow up on my previous posts, my screen is now working fine, mostly. The instruments do what they are supposed to do and mimic the ones in the cockpit on the sim. It does not, however, allow me to use the Knobster. When I touch a button, it turns blue instead of yellow and the blue only remains while I am touching it. As soon as I let go, it goes back to the original color. The Knobster does not do anything because the button is not selected. Any ideas?

Each panel needs to have the knobster enabled in its settings. If the highlight is blue and not yellow the knobster is either not enabled as mentioned or it’s simply not installed. To enable it on the panel it first has to be installed and showing at the bottom of the panels list in the Home tab.

Re: Trouble with WINMAXIT monitor
Thanks, both of you. I feel like an idiot, but I had not enabled it in my panel. Once I did, it worked fine. AM is still an amazing program, and the Knobster makes it even better. It is hard to read the instruments on the panel in both MSFS and X-Plane and frequently they are just too dark. What a blessing to have great instruments right in front of you.
