Background Colour on Android

#1 Post by MiGMan »

I'd like to request an 'instrument' which is:

A user-definable colour that sits behind all the other instruments on a panel.

Use cases:
  • Match the AM instruments to a specific aircraft cockpit panel colour
  • Match the AM panel to a physical cockpit colour
The user interface for defining the colour could be as simple as entering the colour hex code. No need for a WYSWIG.

And, available:
  • On AM desktop
  • On AM Android :D :(  :D
This feature would go a long way to fostering the 'sim-llusion' that pit-builders-who-fly-multiple-types like to enjoy.

examples F-14, F-117:

Huh? But you can already set your background color, what would be the difference?

On the Android app?
Let me look...

I can't see where, looked under Settings and on each panel...

I did find it on the desktop app. I hadn't scrolled down that far in 3 years  ... not a power user here!

In the Android app, select the panel, then there's a setting item. I believe that you can set the color, but it might be only on the iPad.

... and while on things Android.

Would it be possible to publish to Android these instruments:

Boeing 727 - N1
Boeing 727 - N2
Boeing 727 - EGT gauge
Boeing 727 - EPR
Boeing 727 - Fuel Flow

... with Engine 2 selected?

ATM we Androiders can only use them set to Engine 1 (with no option to change settings).

That's the same with the iPad. We have to get user properties available on the tablets, but that's still on the to-do list.
