Transfer licence

#1 Post by fatcharlieuk »

Hi.

I downloaded Air Player and set it up on the PC I use as a test-bed.

Now I have it working to my liking I want to transfer the licence to my actual flying PC - but i can't seem to do that?

I assumed the licence transfer process would be the same as Air Manager - am I missing something?

Thanks,

Roger.

Hi.

Thanks for the pointer. I’d looked in both AM and AP manuals but didn’t think of the Wiki.

So I reset the licence. I started Air Manager on my main machine, went to “Orders” and pressed “Reset”. I got tge warning asking me if I wanted to use one of my three available resets, pressed “Yes” and got the reset successful message. So far so good.

I closed Air Manager on my main machine.

On my visuals machine I started Xplane and then started Air Player.

Ony main machine I started Xplane and then Air Manager

Air Player appears in the side bar with the rest of the panels, but it’s greyed-out. When I click on it, it says “disconnected” in the main panel.

I’ll happily look in the wiki when i get home, but just wondering if anyone kniws this one offhand.

Cheers,

Roger.

Then it is most probably blocked by the firewall. Also make sure that the automatic connection to Air Player is turned on in the Air Manager Settings tab.
