Hi, just for info, one of the two parts ordered, a terminal screws shield, has been delivered today, so only 8 days until today for delivery from Aliexpress to France. Now waiting for next package delivery which is the ATmega 2560 itself and will report again at this time.

Good to know...
But what is the delivery time to Florida? I think the last time I ordered from Aliexpress it took about 3 weeks or so.
If I can get something from the big Amazon warehouse about 25 miles from my house... all the better.

Was just as a reference, though I agree Kirk, I'm the same, mostly time cost more than the money, sometime as I can switch between projects which mainly are not for my final usage, I can divert from waiting urgently on delivery, so it doesn't hurt me. This is not the same for any single simmer, as one have to go forward on own main flight simulator project/hobby/entertainment/learning curve and I fully understand this.

Just purchased there an ATmega 2560 a few days ago, they said about 10 days delivery, I will let you know, deadline is now around March 31st

It was 9.27€ at the time of purchase (March 21st) and now around 14.43€ with advert on delivery around April 18th

Just to mention the ATmega 2560 (indeed with CH340, so different from the Genuine Arduino), has been delivered today from Aliexepress, so mainly a precise 10 days delivery statement !
surprising driver info reported by Powershell script, which shows the CH340 instead of MEGA we used to see there. However, outside this, just flashed the board straight forward and it works nicely with AM 4.1.6.

Nice gift for 9.27€ :)

The ATmega 2560 with CH340 is the one on COM31, the two other devices are Nano V3 CH340 (with oldbootloader)

Glad to hear this Kirk, nice purchase and indeed boards which take not so much place in a project 👍

Using the Nano board is necessary due to space constraints.
Also, I have been avoiding the Mega 2560 since the problem I had last year when connecting one of those alongside the Mega in my Realsimgear GNS530.
