I have an Arduino 2560 that had been running a little panel via SimVim. Panel was simple autopilot buttons and a half dozen rotary encoders. The 'stuff' is still attached. Will it hurt anything or compromise the process if I don't dis-assemble things before flashing with the Air Manager software? Hate to take it apart just to put it back together, if it's not necessary. Thanks!

Flashing Formerly SimVim Arduino w/ attached h/w
Re: Flashing Formerly SimVim Arduino w/ attached h/w
You can just go ahead and flash it. Then connect all the scripts (or pre-made hardware functions) to the corresponding pins.
Re: Flashing Formerly SimVim Arduino w/ attached h/w
Thanks, Ralph! The Air Manager is amazing...I should have done this years ago! Will the panel be swappable between my Air Manager (desktop/testing) and Air Player (sim) computers?
Re: Flashing Formerly SimVim Arduino w/ attached h/w
Panels yes, hardware is possible, but if you do not script it with hard pin numbers, you will have to do the same configuration again for Air Player. That probably didn't make sense Let me know if I should explain this better.
Re: Flashing Formerly SimVim Arduino w/ attached h/w
Flashing went great...although I did have to download a Win10 AM demo...no flashing on Linux
Digging into it and will report back...thanks!

It'll be possible on Mac an Linux in a future version. Probably not 4.2, but 4.3.

Ain't no biggie! If I wasn't a glutton for punishment I wouldn't be running two OS's! (Gotta have me at least one WinX machine for the RXP GTNs)
