Cessna 172sp fs2020 and questions

#1 Post by Pat737 »

Hello everyone.

I use air manager for my cessna cockpit.
Everything is going quite well.
But I have a few details that I would like to settle.

I use 3 screens for this cockpit:
1 for fs2020
1 for air manager
1 for little navmap.

Sometimes when I start air manager, it does not go to to the expected screen,
Why and how to fix this problem ?

What are the best instruments for this 172 of fs2020 ?

Because the annunciator and the oat and time is not working properly either ?

Thanks for your help.

A small picture of my cessna cockpit.

The instruments have an X Y position (pixels). If this changes, due to Windows monitor settings, then it can end up at a different position.

If you want to report any instrument problems, then you have to mention the exact name(s), because we have more than a thousand. Also describe exactly what the problem is, and if you're using a default or add-on aircraft.

For some more context, what screen are you expecting to see and what are you actually getting.

Hello,

Thank you for your answers.

Sorry for the translation, because I am French.

My cockpit uses 3 screens:

1 fs 2020 1920*1080
2 little nav maps 1024*768
3 air manager 1680*1050

And in air manager there is another screen called:

Custom screen.

And sometimes air manager opens on this screen.
How to delete it ?

My other problem is to know if I am using the right instruments for my cessna 172 sp cockpit from asobo?

I bought the set of instruments (vers.7) from sim innovation.

On the instruments purchased 2 do not reproduce the information of the cessna 172 sp from asobo.

1) The Cessna 172 - OAT and Time: which does not give the correct time or the correct outside temperature.

2) The Cessna 172 - Annunciators does not give the same information as the 172 sp from asobo.

Is this normal or can this information be changed ?

Cordially.

Pat.

2 -
  • a - The Cessna 172 - OAT and Time: which does not give the correct time or the correct outside temperature.
  • b - The Cessna 172 - Annunciators does not give the same information as the 172 sp from asobo.
1 - It occurs when positioning the Air Manager panel in a different location than x=0,y=0. May as well occur with left mouse click maintained down by mistake and moving the mouse. So re locate to x=0,y=0 or select the target monitor in the drop-down list :

2 -

a - Agree, the instrument doesn't react following buttons press in both ways between sim and air manager. Values don't follow either
b - The values are not located in the same scheme as in the sim, though all info are present, however air manager is displaying low fuel with a global 17% quantity, as in sim is for 28%. Other value are displayed properly (lighted) accordingly to the sim

Hello,

Thank you for this precise answer.

So I am of course the best possible solution for the cessna 172 sp from asobo.

Do you think there will be an update of these instruments ?

Pat.

1. Gives exactly the same data here. But note that they are not in sync. The Air Manager instrument operates 'stand-alone'.
2. Please let me know what you think is not the same, because here it works fine.

Hmm there's a lot of information everywhere, I'm a bit confused :)

The fuel specs in Air Manager are taken from the Cessna 172SP pilot operating handbook. What you're seeing in the simulator isn't always correct.

I know, it's likely all of us as simmers, would like to see all things synced in both ways for each single aircraft and there come the nightmare as devs ...
As the instruments would fit several aircrafts in several sims ...
