Keybind hide knobfs

#1 Post by spediegunz »

Hello is there anyway to make the knobfs window appear and disappear without using mouse and selecting it from tool bar while in vr im trying to avoid breaking immersion. Maybe a keybind to a button on yoke or hot key to keyboard

Make it appear automatically following the 2 sec push would be great.

Not sure why it should hide? I place it somewhere on the panel where it doesn't obstruct anything else.

Simmers mostly don't want anything on screen other than the simulation
If every single application bring window and information we are unable to hide, the flight simulation screen will become rapidly a post-it wall

I think the real solution would be to have two key bindings (like Knobxp) for "previous" and "next" mode. These keys would unhide the app, let you scroll to your desired mode then hide again.

The problem with MSFS is that it is not possible to assign custom events to a joystick in the simulator itself, that requires separate software.

At least, it could be a good point if the request is fulfilled within X-Plane/P3D ...
