Hi all,
I have a problem with my Cessna 172 EGT indicator.
The indication is to high if I compare it to my indicator in MSFS2020.
If I monitor the "GENERAL ENG EXHAUST GAS" value with SpadNext, the EGT indicator goes to full deflection with a value of 720, while in my simulator, the indicator is only on the fourth division.
I use MSFS2020 with the Cessna 172 steam gauges edition.
I already tried to change the maximum indication in Air manager from 2000 to 5000, but this doesn't change anything.
Is there something I can do about this?
Thanks already

Hi,
Has that gauge not got a user property to adjust that?

You can check the script in the Create/Edit tab and adjust the value.

Re: Cessna 172 EGT indication
I have been fighting with that gauge as well. It does not work correctly, and the code is so convoluted because the author tried to cover any simulator. So I rewrote the code completely. Below is the export of my own gauge. You may try this one. It's for MSFS2020 only, as I don't use the other simulators anymore.belgianguy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 10:18 am Hi all,

Yes it does, standard that value is set to 2000. I tried to increase that to the maximum of 5000 without any difference.Keith Baxter wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 10:23 am Hi,

I'll have a look at it, but i'm not really an expert in that script language

Re: Cessna 172 EGT indication
The user property was only for X-Plane, not sure why. These instruments have been modified by a lot of people throughout the time.
I've added the same user property for FSX and MSFS. The correct value seems to be around 745.

Hi,
Thank you all for your help.
I imported the instrument from "Tetrachromat" and it works perfectly.
Thanks
