Thanks Joe, Feliz Natal, Merry Christmas
Hope also the same to simmers community

For the sim concern, I think there's good parts and some other which have obviously to be enhanced on both side
As many other applications on the market we can states all are definitely in Beta phase during the whole product life and even if the sellers announces a final release, it always stay in Beta with bugs inside and not already embedded features, so definitely a flight forward for applications publishing all over the world
XP 12 and MSFS don't avoid this situation

XP having to catch up on parts they didn't get interested in, like the external scenery environment, meaning other area than airports, countryside which is better than before and bring illusion though very far from reality with a lot of redundant and fractal algorithm, mountains, seas/rivers/lake side not blended ...
In the counter-side XP bring so much easiness with its own opened architecture, when we want to build external solutions and instruments, together with a nice multi-monitors implementation, accurate flight model (though latest implementation around dynamic weather, has bring some trouble to 3PP devs, so indeed some parts are perfectible)
One point to notice, they've improved, even far from perfect, the airports ground traffic activity. I know we still seeing here and there vehicle running through buildings, other vehicles and aircrafts, still some strange behaviors in roundabouts, however the main logic get better than in XP11, with many steps forward

For MSFS there's obviously a big lack of opening in the data sharing/exchange on a cockpit builders POV, which is the major issue I see in it. The FSX compatibility still stay a bullet in the paw, which for this, they would better have rebuild the whole sim from scratch. The ground traffic is also suffering similar issue than in XP. Photogrammetry is nice, though would requires some enhancements for those with low bandwidth internet link. Flight paths based on World Map flights plans should be improved.
On the good side, we get nice visual on aircrafts and realistic scenery, high level PBR, multi-player mode and multiple discovery features for those who used to start the flight simulator as a game or enjoyment

Both should bring better AI management in any case ...

In the overall, In feel they are both source of enjoyment in their own area of capabilities

  • Throttle/governed RPM during startup and shutdown.
  • Engine performance changes.
  • Fuel management on the weight and balance settings.
  • Performance data on the aircraft selection screen.
  • Localization text changes.
  • FADEC tooltip.
  • Fuel Pressure gauge illumination.
