Also, to be honest, I don't recommend using 4.2 at this stage. It is crawling with bugs.

I run both versions ? - is that not what most do ?. the bugs then are identified sooner. I would never personally run a beta as a main program.

Agreed, there’s flying time. And check out cool new features and report bugs time.

But thanks to companies like Activision with their Call Of Duty Beta’s that are really just ‘limited versions of what to expect at release’
Not everyone gets it

yeah true, there is also the slight issue of needing two licenses which many may not have.
I forgot about that. That could be restricting for many.

I would be happy for you to use the beta :) But things like inputs (button, dial, etc...) are broken. Also, you cannot send commands and events to the simulator(s). For generic use it isn't worth trying it at the moment. Beta 2 will probably tackle a lot of these things.

Hi @Corjan

I see you are producing some very popular additions for MSFS2020. All the peeps are smiling.

@Sling Tony and myself have asked for folders in the instrument section so that we can sort huge open directory folders that have a few thousand instruments.

Tony posted.
Grouping of instruments in folders to make it easier to find and organise a large collection is a prime example of a previous new feature request along similar lines.
You may have missed this so just bringing this to the fore.

Also please update beta 4.2 with a instrument sort fix. When I try and help peeps it takes me quite a bit of time to find code and examples.

Tnx

Keith
