#1 Post by Puukka »

Most parts are finished, still some corrections are necessary, if someone could help...

Oh, it seems like you're having a very high pace of finishing stuff.

What corrections are you thinking of? I checked the panel and saw the following:

- DC POWER LGEN RESET not working (3 position switch, 2 represented)
- DC POWER RGEN RESET not working (3 position switch, 2 represented)
- DC BATT EMER not working (3 position switch, 2 represented)
- AVIONICS POWER lowest position (OFF) not working
- FUEL BOOST ON / OFF / NORMAL - normal not working
- MIC Oxygen mask / headset - switch not moveable
- ICE PROTECTION right switch not moveable (MANUAL/AUTO/OFF)
- IGNITION switches move in AM, but not in MSFS
- FUEL TRANSFER L/R not moveable in AM, but in MSFS
- WINDSHIELD ANTI ICE 3 position switch in MSFS, 2 in AM
- RESET STALL WARN moves in AM>MSFS, but not synced with MSFS>AM
- PRESS CONT STBY not working in AM
- Clickspots for Nav freq unclear; left 111.xx, right xxx.10?; maybe small &large arrow to indicate small&big changes
- Clickspots for ALT encoder unclear
- above issue seems to be with all encoders
- LIGHTING: clickspot has arrow indicated (like encoders), but needs a hand instead
- same with LANDING light
- WING INSP not working in AM, but in MSFS
- FD indicator is next to BANK, should be next to FD

If you have some easier tasks (Fleißaufgaben, so to say ;) ) and give me the list of commands, I can help some.

Hi Olli

Thanks for the list, actually even the VR panel switches in the Sim are in a mess, I´ve mailed Cockspur, hope there will be an update.
Some of the mentioned switches lack their third position in the Sim and others are three position, but should be two, as the Avionics Switch.
Also as example the Passenger Safety/Seatbelt is a two way instead of three.....
As usually I tried to find out the variables but was not very successful.

The Landing Lights Switch is a Taxilights/Landing Lights combination, I´ve got the switch working but it only moved the switch but didn´t switch the lights. This would be a big task to get it correct.
The Avionic Switch don´t work, I tried to get it as a two way switch as the original but I can´t find a callback variable.
These two switches bother me most, others mentioned are fixed or dummies, because I don´t need them using the Normal Procedures and anyway won´t change something in the Sim.
If you might be able to help with these two, would be great.

Thanks and regards,
Herbert

Not sure if I can help here.
As for the Taxi/Landinglights: As far as I can see, these switches work correct? I did not check the outside view of the aircraft (after 2 years of MSFS I have not figured out how to look from the outside :? ), but from the inside it looks like the landing lights go on in the dark. It's rather an issue that there is no difference between Taxi/Landing, but this seems like a Cockspur issue, not AM. Or maybe I did understand get the problem right?

I also wonder, if the Cockspurs representation of the Avionics switch is correct: inside the cockpit, "up" is "on", "middle" is "off" and "down" is "on" again. So I suppose their logic of down position in the cockpit is wrong, AM should switch only between "up" and "middle" (and display "down" for the latter). Again, not sure if I can solve this, but I'll dig more into it.

Hi frumpy

Great!
Yes the landing/taxi light switch should work as:

Down position: OFF
Middle position = Taxi Lights (strong white light in direction of the nosewheel)
Up = Landing Lights (Regular white light in direction of the nosewheel)

The Avionics should be; Down OFF Up ON, at the sim there´s a wrong three way switch.

Thanks and regards,
Herbert

Just figured out the binding for the Throttle Cutoff Switch using Axis and Ohs:

Bind these two to same switch position (Up=ON)

Key Down Event: SET_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 to 1, and switch_fuel_left to 1
Key Up Event: SET_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 to 0, and switch_fuel_left to 0

I´ve just uploaded an update:

1.) G1000 bezel looks more than Mustang ones
2.) Added Audio Panel
3.) Corrected direction of Windshield Ice Switches
4.) Seatbelt/Pax Safety Switch offers three positions instead of the two in the sim
5.) Taxi Lights/Landing Lights switch direction corrected and at least it switches Taxi Lights as it should
6.) Corrected Fuel Boost Pumps Switches
7.) Generator Switches have now Reset clickpoints
