Hello,
I am planning to add a Loupedeck Live to my sim. It is a great little USB device with physical buttons and knobs for controlling anything on a computer. How would I go about using the Loupedeck with Air Manager? I can interface directly with the simulator, but I'd like to be able to touch a control in Air Manager and use the knobs to control the input.
Thoughts?
Loupedeck integration
Re: Loupedeck integration
If it is a joystick device then you might be able to read it, but you would have to script that all yourself.

It's keyboard macro record. 20 year old technology
I can't really see how it would be of any use at all with AM.
Even the encoders are simple key press combos. Again, not of any use with AM.
It might offer some input to the sim via key press actions but it would be limited.

It's much like using a StreamDeck with your sim. You don't use the device to control Air Manager. You use it as a supplemental hardware device to control stuff in the sim.

Thanks all.
Right, this a form factor change and not any new technology. In addition to "short cut" protocol, we can write bridges via application APIs. In any event, I'll focus on mapping the key presses and encoder signals to various avionics in the sim.
