Interesting, not something I have ever found to be an issue (yet)
Why not just use alt tab ?

an option to start AM minimized would be really great.
Cheers, :)

why ? - what would the benefit be to you ?
I use Autohotkey to start AM minimized (among other things)

I understand that a streaming function is being considered for xplane in 4.2. Will this allow the streaming of windows/panels from the sim to air manager even over a network?

This sounds like a fantastic new function to me. Especially if can be done for P3d.

Hi,

Small additional to AM 4.2 are some convenience styling options when adding an image of text node.

E.g. you can apply opacity and viewport right in the add function

Code: Select all

img_add("my_image.png", 0, 0, 100, 100, "opacity: 0.5; viewport_rect: 20, 20, 50, 50")

Will be part of next BETA,

Hi,

There is a new BETA online (BETA 9).

Couple of bug fixes that where requested here are included.
But most important change is the way AM communicates with a new webservice. It is more secure, more 2023 :)

If all goes well, nothing changes, but chances are that there are some issues in the new webservice also, since that way build up from the group.

If you see something weird, please let me know,

Hi,

Normally I finish development on AM first. And when that is getting near the end, I start making AP builds.
Still quite some things have to be finished at AM itself, before I get to that point.

Learning from time and stories, I guess it would be better for SI to build AM and AP Beta at the same time, otherwise you will not see all the background issues
All I say here is only for SI concern, as we all have learned here to not use the Beta branch in any case, because it is not meant to be build to deliver new features to simmers, but only for SI to collect feedback. So do the best for SI, build both packages at the same time which make greatly sense and help simmers to help you ... ;-) :|

In any case I'm not involved in this, so I just hope the whole could be useful and help anyone in any case ...
