Hi,
I have the old but good problem that i don´t get a connection between AirManager und AirPlayer with the following setup:
1. PC (Main PC) running AirManager and MSFS2020
2. Microsoft Surface running AirPlayer.
Here is what i see when i start AirManager
After i start AirPlayer on my 2. PC i get following picture:
AirManager find the AirPlayer but don´t get a connection.
if i run AirManager, AirPlayer and MSFS2020 on 1.PC it worked.
And yes i tried Firewall-Off, Anti-Virus-Off, IP Subnetmask.
Can somebody help me please?
Thanks
Andreas

1.PC 2.PC
1.PC 2.PC
Re: No connection with AirPlayer
Hi Andy, the PC's are communicating but your network really is slow though. The RTT Round Trip Time is pretty bad. I don't believe that it is necessarily your issue but it needs looking into and will not help. How is your network configured ? . are you wired or wireless. Even on wireless that is terribly slow. The lag is horrible. From the PC that appears to have the flightsim on (you were pinging 0.242 from it) (that is the top image I presume?) the RTT is up to 176mS (Nearly a 10th of a second) . on a home network you should be getting <10mS on wifi and around 1 or 2 mS on a wired network.
If wired try a different ethernet cable(s) and check the RTT again.

This is pinging my router over wifi - it is less than 1mS but the minimum value ping will show is 1mS

Re: No connection with AirPlayer
Hi Joe,
thanks for the fast reply.
The 2 PCs are connected via Wifi to the Network. I tried it again and now i lost 2-3 packages. If i ping an Ethernet device i get 1ms.
I try to fix this.
Thanks!

Did you check if 'Automatically connect to Air Player devices' is turned on in the Air Manager Settings tab?
